Motor Show Entrant Info
Welcome Car and Bike Enthusiasts
We hope that you will come along and participate in this relaxed and friendly event to show off your pride and joy and maybe walk away with a trophy too.
The Motor Show is held on the Saturday and Sunday of the weekend, with setting up camps and the Meet n Greet taking place on Friday Night.
Entry is open to all makes and models of car, bike, truck and machinery; from early 1900's to the very latest models.
HOW DO I NOMINATE?
Nomination Forms are available on the website under the DOWNLOADS Tab.
Pre-nominations are encouraged to be lodged with the Club prior to the event to streamline the processes on the Event Weekend.
Prepayment of nomination and gate fees are not taken - please arrange to pay at the event and we are a CASH ONLY event - no EFTPOS or ATM facilities are at the Show.

Otherwise you can also bring your pre-completed Form along on the weekend.

HOW MUCH IS IT TO NOMINATE?
In addition to Gate fees paid at the front gate, the fees for nomination are split up as below.
We also have driving events to entertain the spectators and participants alike. If you wish to participate in any of the events (including two Super Cruises) you must register with the Office at the Showgrounds next to the Grandstand prior to the event
* Motorbikes ~ $10
Cars and other vehicles
* Trophy Judging ~ $20
(note : this is also required for participation in the Supercruises for insurance purposes.. If you don't want to have your vehicle judged, please let the office know when you collect your entrant sticker)
* Observation Rally ~ $20
* Go To Whoa Qualifying ~ $20
HOW DO I PAY MY NOMINATION FEES?
Due to processing times the Club is not accepting pre-payment of Nomination or gate fees.
On arrival at the weekend, all entrants and spectators must pay their Admission (or "Gate") fees at the entrance to the Showgrounds. Entrants staying for both days will receive and are required to wear wristbands.
Once settled, please come up to the Motor Show Office which is located in the building next to the Grandstand (no, not the bar.......but you can pop on over there afterwards).
If you have sent in your form, payment will be taken and you will be given your entrant "goodie bag" and shirts are available for purchase.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO EFTPOS FACILITIES OR ATMs LOCATED AT THE SHOWGROUNDS.
THIS IS A CASH-ONLY EVENT!
The nearest ATMs are located in Gill Street (the main street of Charters Towers)
WHAT TIME ARE THE EVENTS?
There are a number of events over the 2 days of the Motor Show.
To make events run smoothly, please make your way to the appointed mustering points 15 minutes before departure times.
You will receive an information brochure with your Nomination Sticker which is to be placed on the outside of the windscreen of your car so that the Judge can mark you off when judged.
